A well respected, family-owned winemaker is looking for a talented individual to join the NSW Sales Team as an Area Manager. This incredible opportunity to work with our rich portfolio of brands is now available for the right candidate to successfully service the NSW North Co ast / New England Territory.

Our brands reflect a commitment to quality and include McWilliam’s, Evans & Tate, Mount Pleasant, Barwang, Lillydale Estate, Brand’s Laira, Catching Thieves, Sunstone and X&Y. McWilliam’s Wines is also the Australian distributor for premium international brands including Drambuie, Champagne Taittinger, Henkell and Mateus.
Reporting to the NSW State Sales Manager, the Area Manager will be responsible for ensuring budget by brand is achieved. This role will require utilisation of your previous sales management experience whilst developing a good relationship with all customers in a competitive environment. You will have a strong background in liquor sales to advance the Company’s market share whilst generating a large number of new opportunities to further expand the potential of the business. The successful candidate will exhibit the following qualities:
- An essential minimum of 3 years sales experience in the liquor industry
- A sound knowledge of business needs and requirements
- A systematic approach to new business development and a proven track record of consistent performance with regard to budgets and targets
- Excellent planning skills with a willingness to accept responsibility for the achievement of budgets and targets
- Computer skills encompassing intermediate MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- You possess strong communication skills and are a self-driven professional with a sociable and reliable character
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- A current driver’s licence as travel is required
